A musical portrayal of eight of the most notorious female trendsetters of Weimar Berlin in the 1920s. These influentials iconoclasts, who challenged popular tastes and opinion while trading in the scandal, rebellion and sense of experimentation that swelled in Berlin between the two world wars, included Marlene Dietrich, Anita Berber and Valeska Gert among others.

Tigers, Muses & Jasmine" intersperses songs by Friedrich Hollaender, Mischa Spoliansky, Hanns Eisler and Kurt Weill with the words, ideas and signature gestures of a remarkable rogues gallery of eight female actress-singers, dancers, journalists and a politician. The show not only celebrates the avant-garde derring-do of these free spirits, it dramatizes the brewing Nazi storm on the horizon as it grows increasingly menacing.
